Located on the southern end of Talkeetna Lakes Park, the Whigmi Trailhead offers access to 1,040 acres of park surrounding six lakes. The well-maintained trailhead is a short portage from Tigger Lake, one end of a popular canoeing route.
Whigmi Trailhead is the start of the Otter Loop, which connects to the other trails in the park. Trails are groomed in winter for skiing and snowshoeing.
