It can be accessed by multiple trailheads in the Matanuska Greenbelt and is on land managed by Alaska State Parks and by the University of Alaska Fairbanks (Matanuska Experiment Farm). Please follow all posted signs to stay off of farm fields.

Trailheads: Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area, Crevasse Moraine trailhead, and Kin-Win trailhead.

Parking: Matanuska State Recreation Area and Crevasse Moraine trailhead require day or annual parking passes.
