Palmer, AK – We all feel it sometimes – where has the month gone! Here we are almost at the end of November. As we approach Thanksgiving, I often start thinking about how much I value gathering over the years with friends or family to share time together. And then I think, I really need to get outside and burn off a bit of that amazing meal! You have all seen the #optoutside campaign. Take up that challenge! I have seen contests for the best pictures using your leftovers to simply sharing your outside adventure. Either way, I urge all of us to get out there on our amazing trails throughout the Borough and enjoy! EASIEST WAY TO DONATE For Alaskans
While applying for their PFD online, Alaskans can choose to Pick.Click.Give. in increments of $25. All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive tax documentation from the State once their donations have been processed. Permanent Fund Dividend applications are available from January 1 to March 31, though Alaskans may choose to add or adjust their pledges online through August 31.
