Why I love living in the Mat Su

Autumn ColorsContributor: Kathy Swartz, Board Chair and Donor What’s the best part about living the Mat-Su Valley? For me, it’s all about our beautiful views and access to incredible outdoor recreation opportunities. As I was out biking with my family, the autumn colors just captivated my attention. Having the opportunity to enjoy our trails and parks is near and dear to my heart.

I am on the Board of the Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation (MSTPF) and we are fundraising. I just made a personal donation and I hope you will too. Please consider a donation in any amount from you or from your business to help us continue our work and leverage other funding. We are accepting online donations via the Paypal Giving Fund and there are no fees! Donate Today Online! Or, you can also download a Donation Form and mail it in.

For every donation from individuals or corporations, we have some cool benefits such as stickers, recognition, and other special invitations depending on your giving level, that you can check out on our website here.  And, we are a 501 c3, so your donation is tax-deductible.

I support BOREALPlease, help us do even more to make living here in the Mat Su Valley even better. We fund trails, we fund parks, we fund backcountry huts, we fund bike parks, we fund ski trails and downhill, we fund grooming equipment, we fund trails trainings, and just this year, we helped to fund the acquisition of land for the Settlers Bay Coastal Park. Your contribution will make an impact. Learn more about all of the projects and our work at www.matsutrails.org. Please share widely and thank you for your support!
